- Tetsugoro Dobashi establishes shop in the Akasaka district, downtown Tokyo.

- Storefront officially opens on Hitotsugi Ave., to sell premium teas to nearby exquisite Japanese restaurants in the Akasaka district.

- Dobashien starts sales activities to major companies in the Marunouchi Building and others in the business district near Tokyo station.

- The tea shop is rebuilt a third time on Hitotsugi Ave.
- 1967
- Dobashien creates powdered teas for use by automatic tea dispensers, and begins sale of automatic tea dispensers for use in corporate offices.
- 1969
- At the Nihonbashi Mitsukoshi Department Store, Dobashien begins Japan’s first direct to consumer sale of aracha, or pre-finished Sencha.
- 1984
- Dobashien opens the Japanese tea dining shop “Green Table” at the Ginza Printemps Department Store
Begins instant green tea sales using tea powder with matcha for the first time in Japan.
- 2000
- Takeo Dobashi is appointed Dobashien’s 5th company president.
- 2003
- Takayama Oolong Leaf Tea and its instant powdered tea, both infused with methylated catechin, a natural antioxidant said to be effective against common forms of hay fever in Japan, are introduced.
- 2004
- Dobashien appointed one of the two official suppliers to Japan Air Lines to be served at their airport lounge and in-flight drinks.
- 2005
- Sales of theanine-infused tea “Mechakoi Sencha (powdered tea)”, and methylated catechin infused tea “Seishin Oolong (powdered tea)” begin.
- 2006
- TV shopping through Tokyo Broadcasting Services starts. Ranks the best selling green tea for 7 consecutive years.
- 2012
- Celebrated the 120 years anniversary and started direct marketing through Japanese media.
